Dead people have no privacy rights
In this case, Targeted Justice sued to force the Federal Bureau of Investigation to produce the records of the deceased people that were removed from the Terrorist Screening Database.
Michael Seidel, FBI FOIA Director denied the records stating under penalty of perjury that it was too cumbersome to produce them.
The matter is under court consideration.

Did the Attorney General allow listing without "reasonable suspicion"
In this Freedom of Information Act lawsuit, Targeted Justice sued the Office of Attorney General to obtain the records denied under FOIA regarding an exemption to the reasonable suspicion requirement to place anyone on the Terrorist Screening Database.
Case is pending at the Motion for Summary Judgment stage.

Targeted Justice sued the Office of the Inspector General of the Department of Justice to produce the audit reports of the Terrorist Screening Center. Even though the conclusions of its 2007 audit were horrific, the OIG claims it never did another audit again...
OIG's position does not pass anyone's sniff test.
